From September 22 to 24, an event took place in Ordos as part of the international youth exchange dedicated to the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, in which young people from 13 partner countries of the initiative participated, including Vietnam, Turkey, and South Africa.

During the three-day program, participants visited the Kanbashi district, Ejin-Horo banner, and Dunsheng district. They explored the Kanbashi nightlife, watched the light and music fountain show at the square by Ulan Mulun Lake, and learned about the city’s efforts in desert restoration and water resource management.

The group also visited the Ordos Cultural Industry Park and took part in an event dedicated to the Mid-Autumn Festival together with local residents. Participants got acquainted with traditional Chinese culture by making mooncakes and engaging in folk activities.

Visiting the Ordos Wildlife Park and the Museum of Scientific and Technological Innovations allowed participants to gain a deeper understanding of the city’s work in environmental protection and technological innovation.

The camp was jointly organized by the Institute of International Studies and Training at the China International Communication Group and the Publicity Department of the CPC Ordos Committee. Through culture, environmental protection, and innovation, the program promoted exchanges between youth from China and other countries.
