Trikotazhnaya station of the second Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-2) has become more accessible for pedestrians and transport. About this on his channel in in the messenger “Max” Sergei Sobyanin reported.

“We have created a comfortable pedestrian route to the station from the new residential quarter on Volokolamskoye Highway. We removed wires into cable ducts, renewed the pavement of sidewalks and roadway, installed lamps and benches, and planted lawns,” noted the Mayor of Moscow.

The residential quarter is located in a picturesque area, near the ‘Serebryany Bor’ nature reserve, the ‘Mitino’ landscape park, the square by the Skhodnya River, and the ‘Skhodnensky Kovel’ eco-park.

Convenient parking lots are provided for car owners. One of them is located near the MCD-2 station. Citizens can quickly get there and continue their journey by train to shorten travel time.

Another parking lot is located near the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Tushino. A cozy park recreation area was created opposite it. Benches, swings, and lanterns were installed there.

“The development of Trikotazhnaya is part of a large effort to improve the areas surrounding transport facilities. We create convenient pedestrian routes and simultaneously — new recreational areas, and whenever possible — zones for sports activities, playgrounds, and dog walking areas,” added Sergey Sobyanin.
