An educational complex for 550 places has opened in the Yuzhnoportovy district. Sergey Sobyanin reported this on his channel in the messenger “Max”.

The building that combines a kindergarten and an elementary school became part of the Marshal V.I. Chuikov School. It is located on the territory of a residential complex on Volgograd Avenue.

“The complex was designed using a 3D model. The building has an original layout and architectural concept that incorporates a metaphor of a forest,” noted the Mayor of Moscow.

Materials were supplied from Russian regions. In particular, the rebar was brought from the Kaluga and Chelyabinsk regions, paint and small architectural forms from Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region, and insulation from the Yaroslavl region.

“The complex has two sections: one for kindergarten pupils and one for schoolchildren. A laboratory-research complex and a robo-classroom were equipped for the students,” added Sergey Sobyanin.

Three metro stations are located near the school and Moscow Central Circle. The availability of transport and the location of social facilities near residential buildings make the district convenient and align with the goals of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
