In Moscow, numerous sporting events are held for people with health conditions. Participation is free, but prior registration on the day of the event is required.

On September 26, from 10:00 to 18:00, the final of the Moscow comprehensive interdistrict spartakiad “Sport Without Barriers” in volleyball (deaf sport) will be held in Zelenograd at the Savelyki sports complex on Ozernaya Alley (building 2).

Adults living in Moscow with hearing impairments are invited to participate. When registering, it will be necessary to provide an identity document, a compulsory medical insurance policy (OMS), a certificate in the form No. 1144m, a certificate from the medical and social examination (MSE) or the medical and labor expert commission (VTEK), or another document. Sportswear and shoes should be brought with you.

At the “Na Taganke” sports complex on Rabochaya Street (building 30, structure 3), on September 27 from 12:00 to 16:00, futsal competitions (a sport for the deaf) dedicated to Moscow City Day will take place. Registered adult men with hearing impairments residing in Moscow may participate.

The competitions are team-based and conducted in a round-robin format. The winner will be determined by the highest number of points scored. In case of a tie between two or more teams, the judges will consider additional criteria.

When registering, it is necessary to have an identity document, a compulsory health insurance policy, an application for participation in the event (which can be filled out on-site), and an individual or group medical clearance.

The events are being carried out by the capital’s Department of Sports. They correspond to the objectives of the Russian Federation’s state programs “Development of Physical Culture and Sports” and “Sport of Russia” and the information campaign “Motivation for sports participation and promotion of sports infrastructure.” One of their goals is to increase the share of citizens who regularly engage in physical culture and sports to 70 percent by 2030. In the capital, special attention is paid to the accessibility of infrastructure within walking distance, support for families with children, as well as the integration of participants and veterans of the special military operation and their families into the sports community.
