In the Metrogorodok area, construction of a kindergarten for 150 places has been completed. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.

“A kindergarten building with 150 places in Metrogorodok, with a total area of about 3,900 square meters, was constructed as part of the residential development. It is designed for six groups. Thanks to the layout of the rooms, comfortable conditions have been created here both for children and for educators. Each age group has its own designated block of rooms; additionally, there are facilities equipped for music and physical education classes, rooms for a speech therapist and psychologist, a medical office, and a food service unit. The facility has been transferred to the city education system,” said Vladimir Efimov.

The kindergarten is located on Tagilskaya Street. It opened for the pupils on Knowledge Day. The building was designed taking into account the modern requirements imposed on preschool educational institutions.

The main entrance is located at ground level, providing convenience for parents with strollers and people with limited mobility. The visual design features simple forms, with facades clad in concrete tiles of contrasting colors. The group rooms are decorated in pastel tones. On the premises near the kindergarten, there are areas arranged for games and sports activities, as well as for storing strollers, bicycles, and sleds. The underground part of the building houses rooms for engineering equipment.

Oak, maple, rowan, pear, fir, lilac and hydrangea shrubs, as well as perennial grasses, have been planted near the institution. In addition, a hedge made of herbaceous plants has been created.

Specialists from the Mosgostransnadzor monitored the progress of the building construction at all stages, helping the developer prevent violations and ensure proper quality of work.

“The preschool institution is located on a land plot of more than 0.5 hectares. The committee’s inspectors conducted nine field inspections. Based on the results of the final control and supervisory event, a conclusion was issued confirming that the kindergarten meets the requirements of the project documentation,” said the chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor.

Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin said that in the Solntsevo district they will build school and kindergarten.
