This summer, the Moscow Metro fleet was replenished with a batch of 80 new cars of the “Moscow-2026” series. The rolling stock has already been integrated into operation on the Zamoskvoretskaya and the recently launched Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya lines.

According to the transport complex data, as of today, 60 modern trains are operated on the Zamoskvoretskaya line, of which 192 cars belong to the newest model “Moscow-2026.” Another 96 cars of this series (12 trains) were put into service on the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya line routes in early September.
The “Moscow-2026” model became another evolutionary modification of the basic 775 series, which also includes the “Moscow-2020” and “Moscow-2024” trains. Currently, the trains of this family serve passengers on six lines of the Moscow metro: Zamoskvoretskaya, Circle, Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya, Big Circle, Troitskaya, and Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya.
According to Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport, the city continues a systematic replacement of outdated rolling stock.
“Since 2010, the share of modern trains in the Moscow metro has increased from 13% to over 80%. According to the Transport Development Strategy, by 2030 this figure will exceed 90%,” said Moscow Deputy Mayor for Transport Maksim Liksutov.
