Our country has the largest forest fund in the world. It is our immense wealth, but at the same time a special responsibility to preserve the forests for future generations.
We carry out comprehensive work within the framework of the national project “Environmental Well-being” and achieve noticeable results thanks to your activities. Reforestation work is carried out annually on an area of more than one million hectares.
Decisions are being made that are necessary for more effective protection of forests from fires. Quality agrotechnical care is provided for the planted forest crops.
The role of forests in creating protective belts around industrial cities is of particular importance. They perform a vital ecological function: purifying the air, reducing noise pollution, moderating the climate, and creating a more favorable environment for millions of city residents. The planting and maintenance of such green shields is a clear example of how forestry directly affects people’s quality of life. Therefore, we are developing this area.
Forestry specialists are professionals united by a single cause: the preservation and multiplication of the forest riches of our great country.
