The trade union committee of “KAMAZ” summed up the results of activities for the eight months of 2026. Its chairman, Ildar Shamilov, gave a report at meetings with the team of the Foundry Plant and with representatives of the older generation in the Veterans Council.
“This year, events such as the 400th anniversary of the city’s founding and the 50th anniversary of the production of the first KAMAZ vehicle have formed the basis of many areas of work for the trade union organization. Of course, the most important issue remains the protection of the rights and interests of the workers of the automotive giant.”, – addressed the audience Ildar Shamilov. He noted that in the past months of 2026, 378 people have sought and received legal assistance from the trade union committee. The trade union organization helped seven workers prepare sets of documents for courts of various instances. Thanks to legal support, almost all cases have been brought to a positive resolution.
Ildar Shamilov also reported on salary indexation. Within the framework of social partnership, the trade union committee reached an agreement with the management of the automobile giant on the indexation of salaries and rates for employees by 10%. It is expected that the decision will come into force on October 1.
“The trade union organization continuously monitors the quality of public catering through inspection commissions. This year, we have stopped the supply of low-quality food products four times. None of these products reached our employees. Recently, we changed the catering operator, with whom we are working together to improve the quality of dishes, expand the range of services, and increase overall staff satisfaction,”– the union leader pointed out.
The implementation of the ‘Care’ strategy continues. Under the ‘Mother and Child’ program, the trade union committee is organizing a vacation for 128 families with children throughout the current year. Fathers raising children alone can also take advantage of it. Over the summer, 1,218 children of Kamaz employees rested at the ‘Sunny’ and ‘Krylaty’ camps. In eight months, 1,492 workers have used the sanatorium-resort treatment at the ‘Naberezhnye Chelny’ clinic-sanatorium.

The team “Nelogichnye” has repeatedly become the winner of both the city KVN league and the Volga region, and has frequently represented the company at the international festival “KiViN” in Sochi. Overall, more than a thousand Kamaz employees have taken part in amateur artistic activities.
“The calling card of the Kamaz trade union has become the annual open Festival of Tourism, Culture, and Sports. This year it included more than 400 participants from 18 teams. Every year we hold a Spartakiad in eight sports disciplines. It involves 2,500 people. We also organize many other competitions outside the Spartakiad, totaling 26!”– Ildar Shamilov emphasized. – The trade union team participates in the largest competitions of the republic and Russia, such as the Sochi Half Marathon and the Kazan Marathon, where it consistently takes prize-winning places. And in the “Strike Ten” of Rostec, it has been winning first place for many years. This is the achievement of Anatoly Pakhomov, an employee of the Foundry Plant.
