On Wednesday, September 16, a delegation from PJSC Transneft – the world’s largest pipeline company in the field of oil and oil products transportation – paid a working visit to KAMAZ.
The delegation includes managers and specialists from various divisions of PJSC Transneft. The introductory tour began at the KAMAZ Visitor Center, where the group was presented with an exhibition dedicated to the history and key milestones of the enterprise’s development. Then the guests visited the Bridge Plant, KAMAZ Brake Systems LLC (KTS), and the Press-Frame Plant. In addition, the delegation members visited the company’s most modern plant with a high degree of automation – the Cabin Frames Plant.
At the company’s Scientific and Technical Center, representatives of Transneft were shown an exhibition of the latest generation K5 vehicles. The display featured all-wheel-drive models: the KAMAZ-65959 chassis, the KAMAZ-65959 dump truck, the KAMAZ-43118 vehicle with a K5 cab, as well as a representative of the heavy family – the KAMAZ-65956 (6×4) tractor unit. Guests had the opportunity to personally assess the driving qualities of the vehicles during a test drive. Business negotiations also took place, attended by the General Director of the KAMAZ Trade and Finance Company, Andrey Kozhevnikov, and other leaders of the automotive giant. The parties discussed issues of further cooperation.
