The capital has decided to extend the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya metro line beyond the Moscow Automobile Ring Road into the Leninsky City District of the Moscow Region. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.

“Moscow continues to give priority to the construction of transport infrastructure facilities, primarily the metro. Thus, the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line will reach the Leninsky urban district. The decision to extend its southern radius from the current terminal station “Zyablikovo” to the urban-type settlement of Misailovo has already been made. The length of the new section will be six kilometers. It will have two stations — “Razvilka” in the settlement of the same name and “Volodarskoye Shosse” on the territory of the Lenin state farm, near Misailovo. The exact location of the stations will be determined at the stage of preparing the linear object planning project,” said Vladimir Yefimov.

The extension of the metro in the Moscow region became possible thanks to systematic work on developing the transport framework of the capital.

In addition to the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line, another branch will come to the Leninsky urban district — the Biryulyovskaya line. As part of the second phase, three stations will be built — “Klubnichnye Polya” in the area of the urban-type settlement Izmaylovo, “Lopatino” and “Drozhzhino.”

A total of 12 stations will be built in the Moscow region after 2030 on seven routes. In addition to the Biryulyovskaya and Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya lines, the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya, Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya, Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya, and Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya lines will reach nearby towns of the Moscow suburbs.

“Under the leadership of Sergey Sobyanin, a large-scale metro development program is being formed for the period after 2030. The extension of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line and the second phase of the Biryulyovskaya line will improve transport accessibility of the Moscow region territories, where it is forecasted that more than 690 thousand people will live. Changes will also affect Shcherbinka and other districts of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative okrugs. For more than 80 thousand residents of the village of Razvilka and the Misailovo microdistrict of the Leninsky administrative okrug, trips to the city center will become 1.5 times faster. The time savings will amount to up to 30 minutes per day. The load on the southern segment of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line will decrease to 10 percent. On the adjacent highways — Kashirskoye and Volodarskoye shosse — by up to 15 percent,” noted the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

Maxim Liksutov.

Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin, during a visit to the plant in Mytishchi, spoke about plans extend the metro to Khimki, Mytishchi, Balashikha, and Krasnogorsk.
