In the capital, all planned work for this year on replacing indoor heating systems during the overhaul of apartment buildings has been completed. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement. Petr Biryukov.
“As part of the city’s capital repair program for the residential housing stock, work is carried out annually to replace central heating systems. These activities began immediately after the end of the heating season and were completed before the start of the new one, ensuring full readiness of this category of residential buildings,” said Petr Biryukov.
Timely and high-quality replacement of heating devices is the key to comfort and safety in the apartments of Muscovites. This year, as part of the program, in-house central heating systems have been updated in more than 820 buildings.
During the overhaul, worn pipelines, valves, support structures, as well as connecting elements and heating devices are replaced in apartments and common areas. Thus, specialists perform comprehensive repairs of engineering systems, which guarantees their trouble-free operation during the winter period.
After replacing the heating system pipelines, a comprehensive pressure test is mandatorily carried out under the supervision of the resource-supplying organization.
Only domestic materials that meet all reliability and durability requirements are used during the major repairs. For example, when updating the central heating system, Russian bimetallic radiators with high energy efficiency are installed.
