The city provided the investor with a land plot of 1.3 hectares for the construction of a production complex within the framework a large-scale investment project (MAiP). This was reported by Ekaterina Solovyova, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital’s Department of City Property.

“Large-scale investment projects are one of the main mechanisms for the development of the capital’s infrastructure. Since 2016, land has been provided to investors and city developers on special terms for the construction of social, public-business, and industrial facilities. In August, the city allocated a land plot of 1.3 hectares in the Krasnopakhorsky district for the construction of a fish oil production complex. The area of the facility will be up to five thousand square meters. The project is planned to be completed by 2029. Throughout the entire construction period, the investor will benefit from a preferential land rent rate — only one ruble per year,” said Ekaterina Solovyeva.

The production complex will be two to three stories high. The enterprise will be able to produce more than 200 tons annually of premium highly purified omega-3 fatty acids (re-esterified triglycerides), as well as two thousand tons of fish oil purified from impurities and heavy metals.

“The new production complex in the Troitsky Administrative Okrug will combine all the necessary functions for the enterprise’s operation. In addition to production and engineering spaces, it will include a laboratory, warehouses, packaging areas, and administrative and utility facilities. This structure will allow the main stages of product manufacturing and quality control to be organized on a single site. The implementation of this large-scale investment project will also provide more than 50 jobs for highly qualified specialists,” noted the Minister of the Moscow Government and head of the city’s Department of Investment and Industrial Policy.

Large-scale investment projects help develop urban infrastructure, as well as provide Moscow with new jobs and additional tax payments to the budget. Since 2022, investors planning to create new industrial enterprises and productions can lease land plots at a preferential rate — just one ruble per year for the entire duration of the project.
