Beijing, September 16 /Xinhua/ — Workers engaged in new forms of labor are an important part of China’s labor resources and play an indispensable role in the country’s economic and social development, according to guests of the latest episode of the all-media discussion program “China Economic Roundtable,” organized by Xinhua News Agency.

Yan Jing, a representative of the Chongqing Household Services Association, emphasized that it is especially important for workers engaged in new forms of labor activities to be noticed and recognized.
“We must increase the level of social engagement of our group of workers in new forms of employment, enhance their sense of belonging, and help them integrate into local communities,” she said.
