Today, on September 16, a solemn ceremony was held in Naberezhnye Chelny for the transfer of a batch of KAMAZ trucks for the needs of the People’s Front humanitarian mission.
The event was attended by the head of the Executive Committee of the People’s Front Mikhail Kuznetsov, State Duma deputy of the Russian Federation Alfiya Kogogina, CEO of PJSC KAMAZ and co-chairman of the Central Headquarters of the People’s Front Sergey Kogogin, top managers of the automotive giant, as well as KAMAZ employees and volunteers.
Addressing those present, Sergey Kogogin emphasized that the transfer of vehicles is not a one-time gesture, but a continuation of the systematic work that KAMAZ has been carrying out since the first days of the special military operation. Since 2022, the automotive giant has sent 27 convoys to the SVO zone totaling 1 billion 560 million rubles, and the total cargo weight has exceeded 1850 tons.
“We send humanitarian convoys regularly – every two to three months. These include spare parts, equipment, communication devices, and what the fighters themselves request. It is fundamentally important for us that we do this work together with the People’s Front. Thanks to all volunteers and activists whose dedication is an example of how the concern of ordinary people turns into real strength. And, of course, I am grateful to the KamAZ workers who support the initiatives of the People’s Front and the country’s leadership from the heart. Today’s transfer of equipment is a contribution to our common cause!” – noted Sergey Kogogin, handing over the keys to the cars to the representatives of the humanitarian mission.
The People’s Front was handed over a KAMAZ semi-trailer tractor, five flatbed trucks, and a tarpaulin-covered trailer. Each vehicle was named after heroes who died at their combat posts. Thus, the vehicles will serve as a reminder of the dedication and loyalty to their cause of the executive director of the “People’s Front. All for Victory!” foundation, Anatoly Chernyshov; volunteers of the People’s Front Youth, David Sokolov and Nikolai Kovalyov; military correspondents Anna Prokofyeva (Channel One), Alexander Fedorchak, and Semyon Yeremin (Izvestia).
“We came up with the idea to name these vehicles after our fallen friends and comrades — people who helped soldiers and civilians. Among them is Anatoliy Chernyshov, the executive director of the ‘All for Victory!’ foundation, our volunteers who worked in the Kursk region, our friends — military correspondents with whom we have conducted joint collections since the very beginning of the special military operation. They were always in direct contact with the fighters, knew what was needed here and now, and tried to go on missions less empty-handed. It is a great honor for us that these guys will now be with us, and the vehicles named after them will continue delivering aid to the people.” – said Head of the Executive Committee of the People’s Front, Mikhail Kuznetsov.

During the ceremonial event, Mikhail Kuznetsov presented the badges “People’s Front. Everything for Victory!” to those who made a special personal contribution to assisting participants in the Special Military Operation and the civilian population of Russia. Among those awarded was State Duma deputy Alfiya Kogogina, who personally coordinates the dispatch of “KAMAZ” humanitarian convoys to the SMO zone and regularly visits frontline regions to oversee the delivery of cargo to affiliated military units. In addition, the badges were awarded to KAMAZ employees: Deputy Executive Director for Logistics – Director of the Logistics Center of PJSC “KAMAZ” Eduard Nuretkinov, active member of the initiative group “Your Protection” Rashida Gaysina, employees of the Foundry Plant Leisan Muldakhasova, Marina Sabirova, Irina Shareiko, Ilshat Shiyapov, Tatyana Beloborodova (Engine Plant), and Rufiya Latipova (Spare Parts and Components Plant).
