Beijing, September 14 /Xinhua/ — Spreading fear, confrontation, and unfair competition can only hinder efforts to ensure effective global governance of artificial intelligence (AI), which is not in anyone’s interest. A Chinese diplomat made this statement while commenting on reports that over the past weekend Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, and Elon Musk, who heads xAI, called on AI companies to slow down the development of advanced technologies.
