About 15 foreign brands will present their collections at the seventh Moscow Fashion Week, which will take place at the Central Exhibition Hall “Manege” from September 26 to October 1. This was reported by Natalya Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

“Over the entire time, designers from more than 20 countries have become participants in the project. The seventh season will bring together representatives from over 10 countries in the capital, including Kazakhstan, China, and Turkey,” said Natalya Sergunina.

In addition to the shows, the program includes lectures and the World Fashion Shorts short film festival. Those interested will also be offered the chance to purchase clothing, footwear, and accessories at the fashion market.

The key objectives of Moscow Fashion Week are the promotion of domestic manufacturers, expanding their presence in the domestic and foreign markets, as well as cultural exchange, since the fashion industry is broader than just design and garment production.

“The interaction between Kazakhstan Fashion Week and Moscow Fashion Week helps strengthen professional and cultural ties between the fashion industries of Kazakhstan and Russia. It creates a sustainable platform for exchanging experiences, creative ideas, and current practices, as well as promoting a deeper acquaintance of the audience and professional community with the contemporary design of our countries,” noted Sayat Dosybaev, founder and general producer of Kazakhstan Fashion Week.

Previous seasons of the project brought together about a thousand Russian and foreign designers. For example, thanks to the sixth Fashion Week, industry representatives signed more than 70 partnership agreements.

As Shan Wei, the founder of the brand from China, confessed, Moscow Fashion Week is a valuable opportunity for designers from her country to present modern collections based on Eastern traditions. The event provides access to media, buyers, and partners in Russia and other nearby markets. The platform also promotes the development of intercultural dialogue.

BRICS+ Fashion Summit

From September 28 to 30, as part of Moscow Fashion Week, the international forum BRICS+ Fashion Summit will traditionally be held. It will bring together industry experts from more than 60 countries — from Brazil and the Republic of South Africa to Vietnam and Morocco.

The business program will be dedicated to new trends in the market, support for local brands, attracting investments, the role of traditional crafts and cultural heritage in modern fashion, the use of artificial intelligence, innovative materials, and other topics.

In 2025, more than 260 professionals from 65 countries attended the summit — approximately one-third of the world’s countries.

According to Yanina Goncharova, the founder of Belarus Fashion Week, the Russian market is one of the most important for the Belarusian fashion industry. The relations between the two countries create favorable conditions for the development of trade, professional, and cultural cooperation. The closeness of the cultural code is also of great importance: clothing created by Belarusian designers is easily accepted by Russian consumers and fits organically into their perception of contemporary fashion.

Registration for the forum is already open at official website. The event is organized by the Fashion Fund with the support of the Moscow Government.
