Beijing, September 10 /Xinhua/ — The dominant position of NEV vehicles in the Chinese auto market has been further strengthened. According to data released on Thursday by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in August this year, the share of NEV vehicle sales in the total volume of new vehicle sales in the country reached a record level – 60.6 percent.
According to association data, last month the production and sales volumes of NEV vehicles amounted to more than 1.65 million and 1.64 million units respectively. These figures increased by almost 20 percent compared to the same period last year. -0-
