On the Garden Ring, as well as on a number of streets in the city center and west, traffic will be temporarily closed on September 12 due to the “Moscow Autumn Bike Festival” event, as well as the “Moscow” and “Russia” bike races. On September 13, motorists will temporarily be unable to drive through Tsvetnoy Boulevard due to the Moscow Children’s Bike Festival.
Thus, from September 11 to September 13, passage will be closed in the parking bay of University Square near the intersection with Kosygin Street.
The main traffic restrictions are scheduled for September 12. From 00:01 to 19:00, traffic will be closed at University Square from University Avenue to Kosygin Street in both directions.
From 07:00, with the opening of the cycling column movement and as it passes, it will be impossible to drive on the Garden Ring in each direction, on Kosygin Street from Vernadsky Prospect to Vorobyovsky Highway, on Vorobyovsky Highway from Kosygin Street to Berezhkovskaya Embankment, on Berezhkovskaya Embankment from Vorobyovsky Highway to Taras Shevchenko Embankment, on Taras Shevchenko Embankment near Borodinsky Bridge, on the exits from Borodinsky Bridge to Taras Shevchenko Embankment and Berezhkovskaya Embankment, on Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street near Borodinsky Bridge and on Borodinsky Bridge itself, as well as on Smolenskaya Street from Borodinsky Bridge to the Garden Ring.
From 11:00 to 19:00, Kosygina Street will be closed to traffic from Michurinsky Avenue to house 20 when heading towards Leninsky Avenue, as well as from house 20 to house 28, building 1 when heading towards Michurinsky Avenue. From 11:10 to 19:00, it will be impossible to drive on University Avenue from Mendeleev Street to Lebedev Street.
In addition, from 10:00 on September 11 to 06:00 on September 13, one extreme left lane will be closed to traffic, occupying parking spaces on Universitetskaya Square from Universitetsky Prospekt to Kosygina Street in each direction.
Drivers are asked to note that from 00:01 on September 11 to 23:59 on September 13, parking will be prohibited in the parking bay on University Square in the area of the intersection with Kosygin Street and from University Avenue to Kosygin Street. In addition, from 00:01 on September 12 until the end of the events, it will be forbidden to park cars in all restricted areas.
On September 13, from 08:00 to 19:00, there will be road closures on Tsvetnoy Boulevard from the Garden Ring to Petrovsky Boulevard in both directions.
In addition, from September 11 to September 14, traffic will be restricted to one far left lane on the section of Tsvetnoy Boulevard from house 27/24 to house 1. On September 13, from 08:00 to 19:00, passage will be prohibited on the two outermost lanes on Petrovsky Boulevard in the area of Trubnaya Square heading towards Petrovka Street.
From 00:01 on September 13 until the end of the event, parking will be prohibited on all sections of the closures.
