China and the United States Unveil Cross-Border Case on Synthetic Cannabinoid Precursors

Beijing, September 10 /Xinhua/ — Law enforcement agencies of China and the United States have jointly uncovered a cross-border case related to precursors used for the production of synthetic cannabinoids, the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China reported on Thursday.

According to the ministry, during coordinated operations in mid-August in Hebei Province in northern China and other regions of the country, Chinese police arrested 21 suspects and seized a batch of precursors not included in the list of controlled chemicals and precursors.
