Nine years ago, the Zaryadye Park opened in the capital, becoming a symbol of modern Moscow. From the first day, it has attracted the attention of residents and tourists with its unique architecture, recognized by prestigious Russian and international awards. Sergey Sobyanin spoke about this on his channel in in the “Max” messenger.
“Today it is a large public complex, impressive with its museum and exhibition spaces,
concert venues and a rich collection of plants,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

The park features various natural zones of Russia — from tundra to steppe. In the aeroport greenhouse “Florarium,” rare plants are grown in collaboration with regional botanical gardens. Several times a year, a seasonal change of blooming landscape waves takes place in “Zaryadye”: spring primroses give way to summer field compositions, and then the area is painted in bright autumn colors.
Since the park opened, the immersive attractions “Flight” and “Media Hall 360” have been operating. They allow virtual journeys across Russia and space. In the “Reserved Embassy” pavilion, guests are introduced to scientific developments in the fields of biotechnology, genetics, and medicine.
Exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art, history, and Russian culture are also held at “Zaryadye.” Special attention is given to supporting young artists: in the five years since the “Graduation” project was launched, more than a thousand Moscow artists have presented their works.
“The park continues to evolve along with the city, preserving the main idea — to unite people, nature, culture, science, and technology of our vast country,” noted the Mayor of Moscow.
Starting in 2024, a major festival called “Cultural City” will be organized in the park, combining music, theater, and poetry. This year, more than five thousand artists performed here, including well-known musicians and stars of domestic theater and cinema.
A large-scale project appeared on the mos.ru portal
special project, dedicated to the development of key areas of Moscow. These include transportation, industry, healthcare, education, sports, and the construction sector. The special project helps to learn how the capital has changed in recent years, which initiatives aimed at making the lives of city residents even more comfortable are currently being implemented, and what awaits Moscow and its inhabitants in the near future. On the project page “Culture, Heritage, and Leisure Industry” you can learn about how architectural monuments are preserved in the capital. Moscow is the cultural center of the country and ranks among the leading metropolises in terms of the number of museums and exhibition halls. The city has created a film cluster that unites the Moskino film factory on Ryazansky Avenue, the Gorky Film Studio, and the Moskino film park.
