New features have appeared in the mobile application “Gosuslugi Moskvy” for the convenience of the capital’s residents. 21 city services have been added to its catalog. Now users of the application can apply at any convenient time for water meter verification, removal of old and unwanted items, obtaining a unified library card, or participating in the project “Moscow Longevity In addition, they have access to services such as transferring the child to another school, enrolling in extended daycare, paying fines, registering with a dental clinic (children’s or adult), and many others.

To make it easier to find services and resolve various issues more quickly, the developers grouped them by category in the catalog. Also, new features have appeared in the “Electronic Diary” service. Now you can view the schedule for the entire week and find out the room number. A “Troika Cards” section has also been added to the user profile — this speeds up balance replenishment.

“We continue to improve the mobile application ‘Moscow Public Services’ to make it even more convenient for the residents of the capital to use city services and utilities on their smartphones. One of the latest updates is the service catalog. It has doubled in size, and finding what you need is now easier. New features have also appeared in the most popular services among city dwellers. Additional functions in the application are implemented taking into account suggestions received from Muscovites,” the press service noted.

Department of Information Technologies of the City of Moscow.

Currently, residents of the capital can access services related to education (“Enrollment in all classes”, “Enrollment in first grade”, “Enrollment of a child in an extended day group”, “Enrollment in college”, “Professional training without borders”) and healthcare (“Attachment to a women’s consultation”, “Attachment to an adult dental clinic”, “Attachment to a children’s dental clinic”, “Appointment for a medical examination to obtain a certificate from the traffic police”) through the mobile application. Among the services are useful tools for solving issues related to real estate and household matters: “Removal of unnecessary items”, “Provision of housing accounting information”, “Calculation of housing and utility payments for typical situations”, “Verification of water meters”, “Submission of information on meter verification.” In addition, Muscovites can check the balance of their home phone and attachment to a clinic on their smartphone, make changes to their parking permit, apply to participate in the “Moscow Longevity” project, as well as receive a unified library card and reserve a book in the library. When selecting any of these services, the application will redirect to the relevant page on the mos.ru portal.

The app’s electronic catalog provides access to 46 city services and utilities. To make it easier for users to navigate, they are divided into six categories: “Education,” “Health,” “Real Estate,” “Transport,” “Family,” and “Popular.”

Additional features in the “Gosuslugi Moscow” app have been made available to parents of schoolchildren. Taking into account suggestions from users, the developers have improved the “Electronic Diary” service. Now in it, just like in the “Moscow Electronic School You can view the schedule for the entire week, not just for the current day or the selected date in the calendar. In the section with classes, the room number started being indicated and a link to the online lesson is provided. Previously, to see this information, you had to go to the lesson card.

Another new feature is the addition of the “Troika Cards” section to the user profile. All transport cards are stored here, which speeds up their replenishment. You only need to enter the Troika card number once — it will be saved in the app. Later, the balance can be topped up without re-entering the data.

The update also affected the “Muscovite Card” service. It now includes an option to automatically search for the card number linked to the profile. To do this, the user must give consent, verify the data, and click the “Link Card” button. Previously, performing this operation required entering the number manually or scanning the barcode.

The mobile app “Gosuslugi of Moscow” has been operating since 2012. During this time, it has become an indispensable digital assistant for many city residents. Most often, it is used to pay a unified payment document and other bills, submit meter readings for water, electricity, and heating, stay informed about a child’s attendance and academic performance at school, order a menu in the school cafeteria, and top up the “Troika” card.

Thanks to the user-friendly interface and well-thought-out functionality, the app is popular among city residents of different generations. Moreover, they not only use its features but also help to improve the service. To rate the app and leave a comment, a user needs to find the “Other” section in their profile, select “App rating,” and click the “Like” or “Dislike” buttons. If the latter option is chosen, a form titled “Your opinion matters to us” will open, where users can write messages with suggestions to improve the app’s performance.

Developers take into account the received information when improving the application to make access to city services and amenities even more comfortable for residents.
