Thus, more than 209 thousand people should move into new apartments,” said Vladimir Efimov.
Buildings of the old residential stock are dismantled in the most environmentally friendly way, without harm to the environment, with minimal dust and noise impact. At the same time, all construction debris is sent immediately for recycling.
“The city is constantly increasing the pace of the renovation program implementation. Thus, in the east of the capital, old housing has been resettled in 12 districts. In Northern Izmailovo and Izmailovo, residents have completely vacated 38 buildings each. In Perovo — 31 and in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky district — 21. In Golyanovo, 19 houses have been resettled. Participants in the renovation program have already moved into modern residential complexes. In place of the demolition of old objects, new buildings will appear with landscaped areas and comfortable courtyards, which ensures phased relocation of residents within the district,” clarified the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the city Department of Urban Development Policy.

The top five districts with the largest number of residents who completed all the paperwork and moved into new buildings as entire houses also included the Novogireyevo district. Seventeen old buildings have been resettled there, with about 3.3 thousand city dwellers becoming owners of equivalent real estate.
