A Chuvash beekeeper and participant in Moscow fairs, Vitaliy supports his fellow countrymen—participants in the special military operation (SMO). He supplies the soldiers with honey of his own production and also provides material assistance.

Vitaliy has been engaged in beekeeping since childhood. At first, he helped his father take care of the bees and learned the craft, and then continued the family business.

Vitaly’s own apiary is located deep in the forest near the Sura River — among fields and linden groves. The region has many 100-year-old broadleaf forests. The nature allows harvesting linden, forest, and flower honey.

Vitaly delivers products to Moscow fairs using his personal car in sealed cubitainers. This is plastic packaging with a tightly closing lid, suitable for storing and transporting food products. His honey can be found at fairgrounds in the Southern, South-Eastern, and South-Western administrative districts of Moscow.

“It is important for us that the honey we bring to the Moscow fairs benefits people. And we are sincerely glad that we can support our compatriots who are currently in service. This is our modest contribution to the common cause and an opportunity to say thank you,” Vitaly said.

The beekeeper has been helping the soldiers since the beginning of the Special Military Operation. His family supports his initiative and also participates in preparing and delivering supplies to the front line. The coordination is organized through a common chat with fellow countrymen. In it, the servicemen communicate possible dates for delivering aid and their requests. Vitaliy prepares in advance and gathers everything necessary.

The contents of each shipment depend on the wishes of the servicemen. In addition, Vitaly takes seasonality into account. During the honey extraction season, the fighters receive fresh batches, and at other times — products that can be stored for a long period. In response to the packages, the servicemen write words of gratitude to Vitaly.

Products from more than 40 regions of Russia are presented at Moscow fairs. Participants in the fairs are provided with spaces free of charge. Each supplier guarantees the quality and freshness of the goods, and specialists of the state veterinary service of the city of Moscow they inspect the products before sending them to the shelf.
