Fuzhou, September 5 /Xinhua/ — As of Friday evening, due to continuous heavy rains in Fujian Province in eastern China, 599,300 residents have been evacuated from dangerous areas at sea and on land. This was reported by the provincial headquarters for flood and drought control.
