More than 13 thousand children attended sports-patriotic camps in the summer of 2026. Sergey Sobyanin spoke about this on his channel in in the messenger “Maks”.
“ This year, at the request of students and parents, the number of camps was increased from
three to 10“Almost three thousand events were held in them,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

Educational programs were developed together with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. Young Muscovites trained in firearms, drill, engineering, firefighting, mountaineering, and tourism; they learned to use communications in field conditions, as well as to operate unmanned aerial vehicles, use emergency rescue equipment, and provide first aid.
At the end of the shifts, the guys took part in a large tactical game, where they successfully demonstrated the knowledge and skills they had acquired.
“ At the “Vasilevsky,” “Ushakov,” and “Chuikov” camps, children tried their hand at being rescuers: they extinguished fires, evacuated simulated victims on stretchers, applied bandages, and helped people cope with panic,” added the Mayor of Moscow.
In “Rokossovsky”, “Zhukov”, “Konev”, “Suvorov”, “Kutuzov”, the ‘Bagration’ and ‘Nakhimov’ groups of schoolchildren navigated the terrain using a map and compass, fired pneumatic rifles, as well as crossed a river and searched for training mines along the route.
In addition, the guys met with participants of the special military operation, attended lectures, and watched films.
