Experts Moscow city utilities complex completed road repairs on Teatralnaya Alley, which used to lead to the summer theater in Petrovsky Park. The length of the section where the work was carried out was 460 meters. About nine thousand square meters of asphalt were renewed here.
The work was carried out in several stages. Specialists replaced the curb stone, removed the old surface by milling, repaired inspection wells and rainwater intake grates, and then laid the top layer of asphalt concrete pavement. At the end, about 600 square meters of road markings were applied.
The work involved 25 specialists from the State Budgetary Institution “Automobile Roads,” as well as 10 units of specialized equipment. The repairs were carried out mainly at night, when traffic intensity decreases. During this period, the road was partially closed.
The last time the asphalt on Teatralnaya Alley was repaired was in 2020. New work was required due to wear of the top layer and the formation of ruts, which can affect road safety.
