Every year on September 3rd, commemorative events are held at the State University of Management to highlight the importance of everyone’s role in the fight against terrorism.

This time, an educational film screening about the procedures to follow in the event of a terrorist threat was organized within our university for students, along with an exhibition of posters titled “Anti-Terrorism. Stories of Courage and Solidarity.” In the most frequented passage of the HSE, anyone interested can learn about true stories of ordinary citizens who performed heroic acts, discover tragic events in the country’s recent history, and how people saved each other. The materials are provided by the “Podvig.RF” project.

This exhibition reminds us: each of us can become a hero and help those around us. We must be united against terrorism and protect peace.

In addition, activists from GUU took part in the large-scale memorial event “Candle of Memory,” held at the NIU “MPEI” venue. Hundreds of Moscow students recreated the image of the memorial “Tree of Sorrow,” which is installed in Beslan at the “City of Angels” memorial cemetery, wrote letters to servicemen participating in the special military operation, took part in a quiz on emergency response, and received a briefing on hidden explosive devices.

The fight against terrorism is not limited to a single day; at the State University of Management, classes are regularly held with students, teachers, and staff, as well as practical evacuation drills from buildings in case of danger. The students of the State University of Management never remain indifferent to events that threaten citizens’ safety and provide all possible assistance in dealing with the consequences.

Recall that in 2024, a student of the State University of Management, a member of the All-Russian Student Rescue Corps, Matvey Ulyanov participated in the aftermath elimination of the fire at “Crocus City Hall,” while other students organized blood and cytoplasm donation drives for the victims of the terrorist attack.
