Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Government Office Dmitry Grigorenko held a meeting with IT companies of the Primorsky Krai as part of the Eastern Economic Forum – 2026. The meeting was organized with the participation of the ANO “Digital Economy” at the Key Point data center venue. The main topics were discussing issues of support for IT companies in the region, removing regulatory barriers, as well as supporting IT personnel and opportunities for AI development.
Today, in the Primorsky Krai, there are 936 organizations engaged in the region’s IT sector, 115 of which are included in the register of accredited ones. The total revenue of accredited IT companies in Primorsky Krai in the first half of 2026 is estimated at 6.4 billion rubles, which is 14% higher than in the first half of 2025 (5.6 billion rubles). The number of people employed in the sector is 10.8 thousand (about 2% of the total employed in the region’s economy).
Following the meeting, Dmitry Grigorenko instructed the autonomous non-profit organization “Digital Economy” to review companies’ proposals on a number of issues. In particular, on simplifying bureaucratic procedures for registering software in specialized registries, providing small companies with access to infrastructure and capacities for the development and further training of AI models, and the possibility of offering IT benefits for certified information security integrators.
“The development of the IT industry is impossible without strong regional companies. Our task is to create conditions for their growth and the development of competitive Russian solutions. Therefore, we regularly meet with businesses, including in the regions, to understand their needs and find specific solutions to remove administrative barriers,” said Dmitry Grigorenko.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Key Point (Free Technologies Group), the branch of PJSC MTS in Primorsky Krai, the companies DVIP, Aurora SIA, Schwacher, DNS Technologies, Information Center, Case Systems Vladivostok, and the regional state budgetary institution Digital Laboratory of the Government of Primorsky Krai (RSBI PrimLab).
Meetings of the Deputy Prime Minister with regional IT companies are held regularly with the expert and organizational support of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization “Digital Economy”.
“As the business itself notes, these events not only allow them to put forward their proposals to the Deputy Prime Minister overseeing the sector, but also to get to know each other and to form an IT community within the region,” commented Chulpan Gossamova, General Director of the ANO ‘Digital Economy’.
