On September 12 at “Business. Technograd» the demo day of the “Academy of Innovators” will take place — the final event of the ninth cohort of a large-scale educational program that helps turn innovative ideas into working startups.
The guests of the demo day will be founders of technology companies, business angels, representatives of investment funds, entrepreneurs, experts, and everyone interested in the development of innovations.
“Demo Day is the final event of the ‘Innovators Academy’ stream, where residents present their developments to investors, and visitors can get acquainted with new technological solutions. This season, for the first time, we complemented the program with the business game ‘City in 40 Minutes.’ Anyone interested will be able to try themselves as an urban planner. Players will have to create their own concept for the development of a district and defend it before other teams,” she noted. The main part of the program will be a demonstration of projects by graduates of the “Academy of Innovators.” Ten residents of the ninth cohort will present their developments to investors and potential clients. The presentations will take place in an interactive format that will allow the audience to get acquainted with the participants’ solutions and try themselves as investors by evaluating the projects.
Experts will analyze the presentations of the residents and provide recommendations to help strengthen their presentations. In addition, representatives of the major investment fund Brainbox_I will conduct an expert evaluation of the projects, and based on its results, select the most promising ideas for further support.
In the mentoring zone, residents will be able to discuss with company representatives the demand for technologies and ways to implement their developments into business processes. Among the areas are retail, medicine, industry, construction, information technology, and cybersecurity.
Public signings of agreements between residents and major clients are planned as part of the demo day. Throughout the day, the “Solutions Market” will operate, where guests will get acquainted with technological developments by graduates of different cohorts of the “Academy of Innovators.”
Among the developments, a wearable eye device called “Glasso” will be presented, which monitors the correct execution of exercises using sensors and provides personalized recommendations and reminders. The Hellolife brand is developing vitamins in liposomal form, combining several components into one intake. The educational platform “Infosreda” simplifies learning programming: the teacher and student work together with code in the browser in real time, receiving instant feedback. For people with visual impairments, smart glasses with the AI assistant “VizhuSam” are presented, recognizing objects, text, and obstacles, and also featuring information audio output and spatial orientation functions.
The “Solutions Market” will be complemented by a digital exhibition, where visitors will be able to explore an even greater number of developments by the residents of the “Innovators Academy.” For example, the “Blood Map” is an educational platform for studying blood cells, which combines a database of microphotographs, intelligent search, and an interactive trainer that helps the user learn to recognize different types of cells. The “Na Rodnom” platform helps to study the languages of the peoples of Russia, using artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze video, audio, and texts, create tasks and exercises, and also allows training conversational speech in dialogue with an AI avatar. Rentifly automates the main processes of long-term property rental — from tenant selection to billing and reporting. Through the platform, communication can be conducted, invoices issued, and properties monitored. The “Evento” platform enables event participants to find useful professional contacts using artificial intelligence. The AI agent also takes on part of the communication with guests, reducing the organizers’ workload.”AdaptSkin” develops skincare products for use with prosthetics, reducing irritation, inflammation, and supporting skin recovery.
In addition to the main program, guests can enjoy interactive activities: the business game “City in 40 Minutes,” a racing track with robo-balls where you can compete for memorable merch — a T-shirt, shopper bag, or thermal mug — as well as an area for informal networking.
