Fuzhou, September 3 /Xinhua/ — Typhoon Saudel, the 18th this year, made landfall for the third time on Thursday morning on the coast of Fujian Province (East China), with maximum wind speeds reaching 23 meters per second (force 9) near the typhoon’s epicenter. This was reported by the provincial meteorological observatory.
“Saudel” came ashore in the coastal area of Zhangpu County in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province, at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Thursday.
On August 28, Typhoon Saudel made landfall twice on the coast of Zhejiang province in eastern China. -0-
