Moscow will expand support for the creation of modern production facilities within the framework of projects under the CRT program. This was stated on his channel in in the “Max” messenger Sergey Sobyanin reported.

Today, the industrial development area of the capital exceeds 13 million square meters, and by 2030, this figure is expected to nearly double and exceed 25 million square meters.
The CRT program is designed to make a key contribution to solving this problem, within the framework of which inefficiently used territories are transformed into new blocks of comprehensive balanced urban development.
At present, within the framework of contracts concluded by the city for CRT, approximately 2.25 million square meters of industrial infrastructure are planned to be built, primarily to accommodate high-tech manufacturing facilities on the territory special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow” and at other sites. As a result of project implementation, about 22,500 high-tech jobs will be created. In total, more than 470 CRT projects are currently under development and implementation in Moscow, of which 46 provide for the placement of industrial infrastructure as well. In addition, most projects include the creation of green spaces, exhibition areas, and other popular venues.
Development of former industrial zones
Approximately 70 percent of new industrial facilities will be built within the boundaries of former production zones. For example, one of the largest CRT projects will be the reorganization of the site Tushino Machine-Building Plant. On an area of 46.3 hectares, a modern urban neighborhood will be created. The total area of the new residential, public-business, and industrial development will be about one million square meters. In particular, there will be an industrial technopark with an area of approximately 116 thousand square meters, designed to accommodate light industry enterprises. After the facility reaches its design capacity, about 1,800 high-tech jobs will be created here.
Another large-scale industrial project is being implemented within the framework of the CRT at Altufyevskoye Highway. On a territory of more than 29 hectares, a modern public-residential quarter with an area of over 630 thousand square meters will be constructed. It will house four industrial technoparks with a total area of over 270 thousand square meters, where enterprises of light, construction, and electronic industries will be able to operate. Approximately 3.9 thousand high-tech jobs will be created in the new cluster.
As part of the reorganization of the former industrial zones “Vagonoremont” In Vostochny Degunino, a multifunctional quarter covering more than 15 hectares will be created, with an area of about 298 thousand square meters. In addition to residential and commercial buildings, nearly 87 thousand square meters of modern production facilities will appear. The future residents are currently being determined — priority is given to environmentally friendly enterprises in the light and electronics industries. As a result, about 1.2 thousand high-tech jobs will be created.
Another major industrial project will be the comprehensive development of the former Korovino industrial zones in the Dmitrovsky district. On a site of more than 34 hectares, a production complex with an area of over 370 thousand square meters will be built, including a factory for the production of electric-welded pipes. The project implementation will take place in several stages: first, the existing production will be reconstructed, then new buildings will be erected. After the enterprise reaches its design capacity, more than five thousand jobs will be created.
Production in the territory of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow”
A number of the productions being constructed within the framework of CRT will be located on the territory of the special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow.” To date, decisions have been made on projects that will allow the creation of about 600 thousand square meters of industrial space by 2039, meeting the strictest environmental safety standards. The new infrastructure will be focused on accommodating high-tech industries and R&D centers in key sectors such as microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, aircraft manufacturing, and electric vehicle manufacturing.
In particular, projects of the KRT are being implemented at the site in Pechatniki, within the framework of which it is planned to build more than 220 thousand square meters of industrial infrastructure. The total development area will exceed 23.5 hectares. As a result, more than 2,200 high-tech jobs will be created.
A number of projects are being implemented at the SEZ sites in Zelenograd. The total industrial construction area will exceed 360 thousand square meters. The city has allocated more than 37 hectares for the construction of production and social-business infrastructure: it is planned to accommodate high-tech enterprises here (mainly in the field of microelectronics), industrial technoparks, and social-business facilities. In total, more than 3,600 high-tech jobs will be created.
The construction of modern production facilities will strengthen Moscow’s industrial potential, create additional high-tech jobs for city residents, and ensure balanced development of the capital.
