On September 12, the traditional “Cross of the Nation” run will take place in the Krylatskie Hills landscape park. It has been held in Moscow since 2004 and is considered one of the country’s main sporting events.
The organizers have created courses for all ages and fitness levels. For the youngest runners aged four to five, there will be a “Mini” race of 500 meters. Children and teenagers aged six to 15 will run one kilometer in the “Children’s” category. For participants over 16 years old, a six-kilometer distance called “Debut” is prepared. The longest route, “Challenge,” with a length of 12 kilometers, awaits athletes over 18 years old. Additionally, everyone will be able to complete the standards of the “Ready for Labor and Defense” complex at the site near the start.
The race program will begin at 09:00 with the “Debut” distance, then at 10:30 — the “Trial.” At 12:30, participants of the short distances “Mini” and “Children’s” will start. Scoring will be held separately among men and women in each age group. All participants who complete the distance will receive commemorative medals.

The race is organized By the Department of Sports of the city of Moscow and corresponds to the goals of the state programs of the Russian Federation “Development of Physical Culture and Sports” and “Sport of Russia”.
