The thematic train “Stankin – science, technology, future” will run on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya metro line for six months.

MSTU “Stankin” is among the 38 leading engineering universities in the country. They were identified based on the results of a strategic session held by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The train exhibition introduces the stories of those who created the university, developed equipment necessary for industry, and strengthened the country’s power, emphasized the head of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Valery Falkov.
“MSTU ‘Stankin’ stands at the origins of the formation of domestic machine tool building and celebrated its 95th anniversary last year. Today, the university is a center of applied science, fundamental research, and technological solutions. I am confident that the launch of the themed train will inspire many young men and women to try their hand in the engineering and technical field,” noted the minister.
The university played a key role in the formation and development of Soviet and Russian mechanical engineering. Today, it is experiencing a new stage of its development – on August 24 in Moscow, the construction of a new educational complex of MSTU “STANKIN” was launched, which will include seven buildings and the main competency center of the machine-tool industry.
