Constant care for passengers remains the main priority of Moscow transport. Modern services help make every trip as comfortable as possible. Sergey Sobyanin reported this on his channel in in the “Max” messenger.

“As part of the Moscow transport development strategy until 2030, more than 30 percent of all metro navigation will become digital. At the renovated Leningradsky railway station, 125 elements have already been installed, and by the end of 2026 they will appear at the first five stations of the future Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line,” wrote the Mayor of Moscow.

331 thousand passengers used the “Live Communication” stands in the first half of 2026.

Payment for travel using biometrics continues to gain popularity — nowhere else in the world does a face recognition payment service for travel operate on such a scale as in Moscow. More than 900,000 passengers use the most innovative and convenient payment method. In the first half of 2026, an additional 177,000 people registered in the system. The total number of trips paid for by face recognition reached 224.7 million, of which 31.9 million were made during the first six months of 2026. In June, the service started operating at stations of the first Moscow Central Diameter with turnstiles, in July — on MCD-2 and MCD-4. By the end of the year, it is planned to implement biometric payment on the third Moscow Central Diameter.

The virtual card “Troika” and the fast payment system were used 20.61 million times, with an increase of 6.2 million in 2026. In total, in the application “Moscow Metro” passengers have issued more than 360 thousand virtual “Troikas”. City residents have already made more than 32 million automatic activations of online top-ups of the “Troika” and Muscovite card at the metro turnstiles and Moscow Central Circle. Of these, 12.7 million were registered in the first half of 2026. It is planned that by the end of the year, the share of cashless fare payments will reach 93.5 percent, and online ticket sales channels will account for 80 percent.

The “Moscow Metro” app has 3.2 million active users per month. It has been downloaded 22.8 million times.

Another in-demand service of Moscow’s transport system is Alexander’s chat bot — the first transport virtual assistant in Russia, into whose operation two large neural networks have been integrated simultaneously. Currently, artificial intelligence is connected to 71 percent of the digital assistant’s knowledge base, and by the end of 2026 this figure will increase to 80 percent. Today, every third inquiry regarding transport operations comes through the chatbot. New chatbot interfaces have appeared in “Max” and on the website Moscow High-Speed Diameter.
