Today, almost 415 thousand foreign students study at Russian higher education institutions, and more than 4.5 million students study in the country overall.

“Our education traditionally has a high reputation in the world. Talented young people from Russia regularly win international olympiads and competitions. Russia is among the top three strongest countries in the world based on schoolchildren’s results in international olympiads. This year, our schoolchildren won 27 medals out of 27 possible, 23 of which are gold,” stated Dmitry Chernyshenko.
