Today is the most anticipated day for our freshmen, who are taking an important step into adult life. Use your student years wisely and develop your talents.
On our part, we do everything so that each of you can fully realize your potential within the university walls, receive a quality education, engage in science, and build a successful career. For this purpose, new youth laboratories, student design bureaus, and engineering schools equipped with advanced equipment are being opened across Russia. For those who want to try their hand at entrepreneurship, startup studios are operating.
Special attention is given to ensuring comfortable conditions for students’ study and accommodation — university infrastructure is being developed, and a network of modern student campuses is being created.
We continue to improve the entire higher education system. Its quality is the key to demand in the labor market. In the new academic year, 17 universities will already be training specialists in hundreds of updated educational programs that meet modern requirements and national development objectives.
On this day, I would like to express special words of gratitude to the teachers. Your knowledge and experience, love and dedication to the profession help students find their calling, believe in themselves, and set high goals. It largely depends on you what the new generation of professionals, researchers, and leaders will be like. Thank you for your selfless, conscientious work.
