The project for the construction of an apartment building under the renovation program at the address: Zhivopisnaya Street, property 34, building 1 has been approved. This was reported by the Chairman of the Moscow City Committee on Pricing Policy in Construction and State Expertise of Projects (Moskomexpertiza) Ivan Shcherbakov.
“The agreed design solutions envisage the construction of a single-section apartment building on the site of a five-story building from 1960, included in the renovation program. The building is designed to have 138 apartments, four of which will be adapted for the comfortable living of people with limited mobility,” said Ivan Shcherbakov.
The total living area in the new building will be about 8,700 square meters. The apartments will be delivered with finished interiors made from modern, durable, and safe materials.
On the first floor of the building, public-use premises will be arranged, totaling 381 square meters. It will house an information center for resettlement and a combined dispatch service. The entrance area of the residential section will include a spacious lobby, a stroller room, a concierge room, and a mailboxes area. For the comfort of citizens with limited mobility, a barrier-free environment will be created in the common areas and on the adjacent territory.
In addition, the courtyard of the new building will undergo comprehensive landscaping and greening: children’s and sports playgrounds will be equipped, and decorative shrubs and trees will be planted.
The house will be built in a green area: along Zhivopisnaya Street stretches a pine forest, and there is a well-maintained park on the bank of the Moscow River nearby. Tram and bus stops, kindergartens and schools, clinics and social institutions, as well as shops, catering establishments, and sports facilities are all in close proximity.
Former Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov reported that more than 23 thousand city residents received apartments in buildings under the renovation program in the South-Western Administrative Okrug.
The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about one million Muscovites and provides for the relocation of 5,176 buildings.
The Mayor of Moscow ordered to increase the pace of the renovation program implementation in twice.
Furthermore, Sergey Sobyanin said that in August, Moscow opened the second phase of the plant for the production of prefab structures for the accelerated construction of residential buildings, including for the renovation program.
