Scientists from the State University of Management presented innovative developments for mechanical engineering at the production site of LLC “Petersburg Machine-Building Plant” (PMZ).
Our researchers are working on creating scientific and methodological foundations for the systematic design of transmissions for wheeled tractor machinery using intelligent information technologies. The project is supported by a grant from the Russian Science Foundation and is being implemented in collaboration with an industrial customer – LLC “PMZ”.
On August 28, the scientific team of the State University of Management, led by Professor Vladimir Makarov and including leading specialists Vladimir Filatov, Sergey Manyanin, and Anton Klyushkin, demonstrated the results of the first stage of the research work — advanced developments and theoretical models.
Representatives of the plant – Deputy General Director for Science and Innovation Mikhail Petrov and Production Manager Vladislav Stepanov – highly appreciated the practical significance of the proposed solutions.
To provide co-financing for the project, the team at PMZ LLC manufactured a special batch of transmission element mock-ups, which will serve as key objects for further testing. During a joint inspection of the prototypes, the parties discussed the details of the upcoming experiments and developed a clear plan of work for testing the developed scientific and methodological foundations directly on the production equipment.
Today, the collaboration between the State University of Management and the Petersburg Machine-Building Plant is reaching a new level of practical implementation, combining academic science and industrial experience.
The results of the joint work will form the basis for the creation of highly efficient transmissions of a new generation for Russian agricultural and special machinery.
