Beijing, August 29 /Xinhua/ — Cai Qi, the president of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee / National Academy of Governance, on Saturday called on officials to deepen their understanding of party theories, strengthen their commitment to the party, and enhance their ability to perform their duties.
Cai Qi, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the corresponding appeal at the opening ceremony of the autumn semester of 2026 at this educational institution.
He strongly urged officials to translate their theoretical knowledge into concrete actions, to demonstrate loyalty, honesty, and a sense of responsibility by personal example, and to develop and apply in practice a proper understanding of official merits.
