The capital’s printing house has halved the production time for printed products and various types of packaging thanks to the modernization of equipment with the support of the Moscow Fund for Industry and Entrepreneurship Support (MFPPiP). “With the support of the MFPPiP, Moscow companies are upgrading their production capacities, implementing modern equipment, and expanding the geography of supplies. This allows them to produce high-quality in-demand products, promptly fulfill orders, and create additional opportunities for the further development of the capital’s industry. Thus, thanks to the fund’s tools, the ‘Arbat’ printing house was able to halve the time required to manufacture various types of cardboard packaging: both for food products and industrial goods,” Anatoliy Garbuzov said.
In addition, the company is systematically working to improve production efficiency. Within the framework of the federal project “Labor Productivity,” the printing house optimized the process of manufacturing standard packaging. Thanks to the implementation of lean manufacturing tools, the volume of this product increased by a quarter — from 13.3 thousand to 16.5 thousand units per person per shift, and the production time for a batch of 300 thousand packaging units was reduced by 13 percent and now amounts to 99 hours. The economic effect from process optimization amounted to nearly 25 million rubles.
Today, the company is expanding its presence in the republics of Dagestan, Komi, and Tatarstan, Stavropol Krai, as well as in the Vladimir, Voronezh, Tula, Kirov, Ulyanovsk, Kaluga, and Murmansk regions. In addition to the Russian market, the printing house supplies its products to the Republic of Armenia.
