More than 2.6 billion rubles will be additionally allocated in 2026 for the implementation of social development plans of economic growth centers in the regions included in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD). This order was signed by the Chairman of the Government, Mikhail Mishustin.
With subsidies from the federal budget, the central stadium with a capacity of 10,000 spectators will be renovated in Ulan-Ude, and work will be carried out in Magadan to reinforce the shore of the Sea of Okhotsk from Mayak Park to the infectious diseases hospital. State support will also be provided to producers of technological goods in Buryatia, Yakutia, Zabaykalsky Krai, Primorsky Krai, Khabarovsk Krai, Amur Oblast, and Magadan Oblast.
Support for the economic growth centers of the Far Eastern regions is carried out by the Government on a systematic basis following the President’s directive. It is aimed at creating a comfortable living environment in the Far Eastern cities and towns, and realizing the economic potential of the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District.
The issue of allocating additional funding was considered at at the Government meeting on August 27.
