Government approves order to open a vehicle checkpoint on the border with China

In Primorsky Krai, after reconstruction, the Krasikino automobile cargo-passenger checkpoint, located on the border with China, will open. An order to this effect has been signed.

The construction of the main buildings and auxiliary facilities necessary for organizing state control has been completed at the border crossing area. For now, traffic will be launched according to a temporary scheme.

After all the work is completed in the first quarter of 2027, the checkpoint’s throughput capacity will be 750 vehicles per day. Sixteen lanes will be opened for traffic, of which 10 will be designated for trucks.

The order was prepared within the framework of the current law on the state border of Russia, according to which the opening of checkpoints before the completion of the entire set of works for their arrangement is permitted based on a Government act.
