A subcommission for ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of certain sectors of the economy has been established in the Government. It is headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

His deputies became Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Novak and Dmitry Grigorenko, as well as the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia Anatoly Kontsevoy.

The subcommittee was established within the economic resilience task force under sanctions. It will carry out operational interagency coordination in preparing proposals aimed at enhancing the resilience of key economic sectors, as well as implementing planned measures and monitoring their execution.

Among the main tasks of the subcommission are the analysis of the state of security provision for critical infrastructure facilities in certain sectors of the economy, the development of measures aimed at ensuring the normal functioning of such facilities, control over their timely restoration, and the minimization of negative socio-economic consequences associated with the disruption of enterprise operations in specific sectors of the economy.
