The corresponding agreement within the framework of the “Technoprom-2026” forum was signed by the vice-president, director of the Novosibirsk branch of “Rostelecom” Nikolai Zenin and the rector of NSU Dmitry Pyshny.
The key focus of the work will be the analysis and development of NSU’s unified digital educational environment, as well as the development of an implementation plan for the software and hardware complex “University MFC and Smart Campus of NSU.” The project involves the use of artificial intelligence models to automate services, enhance security, and create a comfortable environment for students and faculty, including in the new university buildings constructed within the framework of the federal project “Creation of a Network of Modern Campuses.”
A separate track is allocated for interaction with the Research Center in the field of artificial intelligence at NSU. The parties intend to focus efforts on ensuring the technological readiness of the results of research and development projects, their testing, and increasing the demand for developments in the real market.

— The agreement signed today is a logical continuation of our partnership with NSU. The new phase of cooperation is focused on the practical integration of advanced technological developments into the university’s infrastructure and the implementation of artificial intelligence algorithms in educational and administrative processes. For us, this is an opportunity not only to apply our expertise as a digital provider but also to gain access to NSU’s advanced scientific base, including the competencies of their Research Center in the field of artificial intelligence.
Dmitry Pyshny, rector of NSU:
— For NSU, as a research university, it is critically important that our developments do not remain “on paper” but find application in the real economy. Cooperation with Rostelecom gives us access to powerful IT infrastructure, telecom expertise, and the market. We expect that joint work on the “smart campus” and the implementation of our AI models will become an example of successful cooperation between science and large business, as well as attract additional funding to the region’s science-intensive projects.
