The monolithic works have been completed in the educational complex under construction in the north of the capital. This was reported by Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction.
“The area of the educational complex being built in the Khoroshevsky district will be 20 thousand square meters. The facility will consist of a three-story kindergarten block for 300 places and a five-story school block for 700 places. Currently, the monolithic structures of the underground and above-ground parts of the building have been fully completed, including the construction of retaining walls in the soil to organize a relief with a height difference of up to six meters. Masonry work, the installation of walls and internal partitions are now underway, and preparation of the territory for landscaping has also begun,” said Vladimir Efimov.
The facility is being constructed at the address: 2nd Khoroshevsky Lane, land plot No. 7/2. It includes separate entrances for children of different ages.
“The layout structure of the educational complex has been developed taking into account current design trends. The architecture of the building features modern solutions: concise forms, a rhythmic pattern of windows, as well as contrasting combinations of colors and textures in the materials. The facades also use decorative brick, metal, and accent stained glass inserts. The kindergarten is designed for 12 groups. The school block will be equipped with classrooms, including those with movable partitions, a media library, three laboratory and research complexes, and two sports halls. A multifunctional, multi-light space for events will also be created,” added the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy.
Since the start of the work in August 2025, the facility has been inspecting Moscow City State Construction Supervision Committee (Mosgosstroynadzor).
As noted by the chairman of Mosgosstroynadzor Anton Slobodchikov, a social facility is being constructed on a land plot of more than 2.2 hectares. Committee inspectors have already conducted the fourth on-site inspection, during which they assessed the quality of the completed structural work and the materials used for compliance with the project documentation requirements, as well as the approved architectural and urban planning solution.
Earlier, Sergey Sobyanin spoke about in kindergarten for 150 places, which was built on Bazovskaya Street in the Zapadnoye Degunino district.
