In the capital, multi-apartment buildings will undergo major renovations at the following addresses: 20/29 Garibaldi Street, building 1; 13 Vernadsky Avenue; 4 Krupskaya Street, building 3; 79 Vavilova Street and 91 Vavilova Street, building 1. The corresponding projects have already been approved. This was reported by Ivan Shcherbakov, Chairperson of the Moscow City Committee on Pricing Policy in Construction and State Examination of Projects (Moscomexpertiza).
“Positive conclusions have been issued for the major renovations of five residential buildings built between 1958 and 1977 in the Lomonosovsky district of the capital. According to the documentation, facades and entrance areas will be refurbished on all sites. Some projects also include repairs in the stairwells,” said Ivan Shcherbakov.
During exterior work, the walls and surfaces of the plinths will be cleaned of dirt and old paint, treated with biocidal agents in areas prone to dampness, and then leveled and repainted. After that, specialists will refurbish the window and door slopes and install new window sills.
“Residential buildings in the Lomonosovsky district, which will undergo major repairs, belong to different years of construction as well as to different building series. The experts of the Moscow Capital Repair Fund approach each facility individually: a unique project for the work is developed, the most modern domestic materials and advanced technologies are selected. Depending on the type of facade, the most suitable technology is chosen,” noted Pavel Ryabonenko, Deputy General Director of the Moscow Capital Repair Fund.
On the loggias, screens and metal elements of the railings will be repaired, and the lower and end surfaces of the floor slabs will be restored. On the unglazed loggias, the floor screed will be replaced and a new finish coat will be applied.
In the entrance groups, the covering of the platforms will be replaced, the steps of the porches will be repaired, and the metal railings will be renovated and painted.
Repairs will also be carried out in the entrance halls of the buildings on Garibaldi Street (building 20/29, block 1) and Krupskaya Street (building 4, block 3). The walls and ceilings will be cleaned, the plaster layer repaired, and they will be repainted.
On the ground floors, in the vestibules, lobbies, and elevator halls, the wall cladding will be replaced with ceramic tiles. In addition, the floors, steps, and railings of the staircases will be restored. In the building on Garibaldi Street, new windows will be installed in the stairwells and the window slopes will be repaired.
