In August 2026, according to survey LLC “inFOM”, the inflation rate that citizens expect in a year amounted to 13.7% after 14.7% in July. Inflation expectations decreased among both respondents with savings and those without savings. Despite the decrease, they remain elevated.
Enterprises’ price expectations have increased.
The consumer sentiment index, which reflects citizens’ current assessments and expectations regarding personal welfare, the economy, and the consumer market situation, rose in August after a sharp decline last month.
