Beijing, August 26 /Xinhua/ — Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC SC), met on Wednesday in Beijing with Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.
Zhao Leji stated that under the strategic leadership of the heads of the two states, the strategic mutual trust between China and Uzbekistan has been further strengthened, practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results, and bilateral relations have been elevated to the level of an all-weather, comprehensive strategic partnership in a new era.

Saida Mirziyoyeva congratulated the Communist Party of China on the 105th anniversary of its founding, stating that Uzbekistan adheres to the One China principle, supports the four global initiatives proposed by China, and hopes for strengthening friendly exchanges between the legislative bodies of the two countries and deepening cooperation in areas such as the economy, transport, education, and counter-terrorism.
