With the arrival of autumn, the creative season opens in the capital’s cultural centers and libraries. Clubs, sections, workshops, and studios will begin their work on September 1. This academic year, 75 new directions of sports and creative leisure will appear there. Both children and adults will be able to find activities to their liking. They will be offered to learn the basics of journalism, acting, or martial arts, to play basketball, sing, draw, dance, and much more. Classes are held both free of charge and for a fee. Play the guitar and sing
You can join a big creative family and develop your skills at at the Meridiane Cultural Center. It houses dozens of clubs, workshops, and studios attended by more than three thousand people. The activities are aimed at people of different ages. For children from three to 17 years old, for example, there is the modern choreography studio “Favorit.” Here they study modern and sports choreography, acting skills, elements of rhythmic gymnastics, and acrobatics. Children aged six and older can attend classes at the pop vocal studio “Golos. lab.” They learn to perform modern musical pieces and jazz compositions. The center also has a basketball studio for young athletes from three to 10 years old. In the fall, a new musical-theatrical studio “Zvuchanie” will open for adults. Its members will be taught to sing, play the piano and guitar, and will be introduced to the basics of solfeggio and theatrical art.
Young Muscovites can learn to voice and master the art of stage at At the ZIL Cultural Center. Children from five years old are awaited at the new pop vocal studio “Energy.” The little performers will sing and perform on stage. Children from seven years old and up are awaited at the new school of TV journalism and video blogging. There, with the support of teachers, they will work with texts and on camera, creating their own video projects. In addition, in the autumn, animation studio, film school, literary creativity studios, and guitar playing classes will open for children.
Master calligraphy and practice martial arts
They will help to reveal artistic talents in at the “Moskvich” cultural center. Children from four to nine years old are invited to classes in painting, graphics, and modeling at the ‘Semitsvetik’ studio. The kids will get acquainted with the basics of visual arts and learn to work with various artistic materials. Children aged nine and older are invited to the ‘Brush Painting’ studio. Young artists will master different decorative painting techniques. Additionally, a special collage course for teenagers aged 16 and above and adults will open at the center in the fall. Practical classes will teach how to assemble complete artworks from fragments of various materials. Participants will learn techniques and methods of creating collages: working with characters, texture, counterform, textiles, embroidery, and more.
Future dancers, designers, and calligraphers are invited to cultural center “Inspiration”. Children from four to 10 years old can join the classes at the «KoMIKS — children» studio. Here they will learn the movements of folk and popular pop dances. At the «Deko» studio, children aged seven to 15 will be introduced to various fabric painting techniques. In the calligraphy studio «Art-shrift,» kids aged 10 to 17 can master the art of beautiful writing. Participants of the theatrical studio «Kreativ» aged seven to 12 will perform plays in English. And in the wushu studio «Breath of Strength,» children from six to 13 years old will learn elements of Eastern martial arts.
Ballet and robotics studios will operate in at the “Strogino” cultural center. Classes are organized in the multi-format space “Cluster 360.” Participants aged seven to twelve will get acquainted with the basics of programming, 3D modeling, and engineering design. For guests of the center aged six to twelve, a preparation and calligraphy studio for school will open. It will help children adapt to the learning process, develop logic and writing skills. Additionally, a theatrical film studio will begin its work. Its participants will study acting and stage speech, learn how plays and short films are created. Classes are available to children from 14 years old.
Study modeling and circus arts
A new creative studio “Thread by Thread” will open in library No. 128 — at the M.A. Sholokhov Cultural Center. Children from seven years old will learn to weave patterns, experiment with colors, shapes, and textures. A modeling and design studio called “Special Format” will also open here. School-aged children will create their own clothing collections and learn to confidently walk the runway.
In Library No. 91 named after E.L. Voynich The laboratory of flying models “Art Wings” will start operating. Here children take their first steps in engineering design, inventing and assembling their own flying vehicle models.
The acrobatics studio “Akromix” will open in Library No. 180 named after N.F. Fedorov. The classes are designed for children of all ages. Participants will be able to develop artistry, flexibility, and coordination.
