The shield tunnel boring machine (TBM) “Sofia” has passed more than two kilometers while tunneling the right running tunnel between the “SberCity” and “Novorizhskaya” stations of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line. The excavation of the left running tunnel between the stations “SberCity” and “Novorizhskaya” on the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line is being carried out by the TBM “Alexandra.”
The new Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line will run in the northwest of the capital from the Moscow International Business Center “Moscow-City” to Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye beyond the Moscow Ring Road, and in the future, the line is planned to be extended to Krasnogorsk in the Moscow region.
